Local play happens on one screenPlug in a controller per person and split the screen for free roaming, races, drag races, pursuits, derbies, drift contests or car soccer, with up to four players on PS5.
Most of the fun is in spectacular crashes and daft challenges you invent, so it suits a relaxed evening.
There is no official online mode; online play exists only through the unofficial BeamMP mod on PC.
The game is still in early access on PC, and the PS5 version launched in early access too.
