How it plays
Online lobbies put everyone on the same generated trail at once: you see each other's riders but never collide, and the next level starts once everyone has finished or run out of lives.
Friends can work through the career together, set up races or freeride the bike parks and compare tricks.
There is no split-screen, so each player needs their own copy and device.
Riding takes practice, so newcomers will crash a lot at first.
PC and Xbox Series share lobbies of up to eight; PlayStation and Switch lobbies hold four.
