How it plays
Up to four hunters take on a monster together, each with one of fourteen weapon types, and hunts are short enough to fit several into an evening.
Hub quests and the Sunbreak expansion carry the shared progression, while the Village quests are single-player.
On Switch, nearby players can also hunt over local wireless.
Everyone needs a copy; only PlayStation consoles, or Xbox and the Microsoft Store PC version, play with each other.
