How it plays
In co-op the second player runs as Tails on the same screen while the camera follows Sonic; Tails flies back in when left behind, so a less practised player never holds the leader up.
Competition mode splits the screen for races through a single act.
Four-player Competition needs the Plus content, sold as the Encore DLC on PC.
On Steam a friend can join through Remote Play Together.
