How it plays
Playing together means the Horde mode added for the remake: two players pick from seven characters and fight waves of robots across more than twenty small islands.
It is light, quick fun for a pair of fans or a parent and child, but it is a side mode.
The main platforming adventure is for one player, so a second player can only watch or take turns.
