How it plays
Up to four friends form a team that shares missions, rewards and scans, and friends can also crew one larger ship together.
Flying in formation to a distant system, mining an asteroid field or taking on a combat zone works well with voice chat, but the flight controls and systems take hours to learn.
A Private Group keeps the session to invited friends.
The PlayStation and Xbox versions run the older Legacy version without on-foot play and receive no new content.
