How it plays
The whole story is played as a pair, on one split screen or online: partners trade items, cover each other and get each other back on their feet, and a second player can join a game in progress.
On split screen each player gets a small widescreen view.
After the story, Mercenaries adds a two-player score attack, and Versus lets up to four play in teams of two; on PC Versus comes with the Untold Stories add-on.
Each online player needs a copy.
