How it plays
Two players can share a whole campaign, as allies or rivals, taking turns on the map and fighting battles together when their armies meet the same enemy.
A campaign lasts many evenings, so it suits a regular pair.
Groups of up to four can play one-off battles instead, against each other or the computer.
Owners of the first game can also play its races in multiplayer.
