How it plays
Up to eight players can share one campaign, each ruling a faction as an ally or a rival, with everyone taking turns at the same time; when armies meet, the battle is fought in real time.
Immortal Empires joins the maps of all three games into one huge campaign.
A campaign spans many evenings, so it suits a regular group.
Shorter sessions work too, as one-off battles or the one-on-one Domination mode.
